Anita Warner Hiatt turned 79 again, The celebration waited a week for Kaitlyn's wedding to be over and so the kids could really surprise her. It was great to have a front seat as she came in and reacted to the crowd and to them celebrating her life.  We love you Anita and I am glad your children didn't listen, such a fun evening,

Kerry and Lauri's family keeps growing 2016

It 's hard to believe that this all started clear back in 1979 and yet in many ways it seems like yesterday.  This is our latest family picture, it will only be a short while before it is outdated,  Baby number 13 will join our family in Dec.  All as a result of a Marine from Colorado and a young woman from Idaho meeting at a base and falling in love, Ralph and Carol.

Lettie Rose Brower

January, 25, 2016

Lettie Rose "Rosie" Brower passed away peacefully pulling her last shift at the Hilltop Station Restaurant in Boise January 23.  Her adoring companion Mary, and her brother Michael Ray and co-workers were be her side.
Rosie was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on August 16. 1955. Her family moved to Pocatello soon after,  Rosie attended Emerson Elementary, Hawthorne Jr. High , and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1973. Rosie was a very hard worker and her career included many job opportunities. Her final stop was at the Hilltop Station where she managed the operation.  Her fellow workers and patrons became a big part of the extended family.
Rosie is survived by her life companion Mary Lewerenz, her mother Louise Bowels (her best friend) and 3 great brothers and their wives, Terry (Kathy), Randy (Mary Pat), Steven (Valerie), and her brother Michael Ray. She is also survived by her nephew Kendal (Justin), 2 grand nephews Jake and Zack, 2 grandnieces Brittany and Kennedy and grand niece Blakeleigh.  She was preceded in death by her father Ted Brower and nephew Greg Brower.
Rosie was a one of a kind person.  She wanted to pursue sports, just like her brothers.  She was often
found playing sports with her brothers in many backyards, playgrounds, and gyms. During her early years she would try out for youth teams meant only for boys.  That never detoured her desire to make the team only to be turned away because she was a girl.  She soon became a player everyone wanted on their team.  she was a star a Poky High school long before Title 1X was in effect.  She never gave up,  Rosie was a winner. After high school she was a star on many elite softball teams and starred on the tennis courts at the Boise Swim and Racquet Club,  She briefly played basketball at Boise State.
Her life was devoted to helping others.  She was a wonderful compassionate person.  Shared her home with many friends and family who were down on their luck.  She lead all leagues with the most "best friends."
One of the great loves in life was her love for all animals.  The family is requesting in lieu of flower that donations be made in her name in honor of April and Duffy to Reservoir in Boise.  The Family would like to thank all of her neighbors in the Red Wine Zone, friends, patrons and the Hilltop Station owners for their support.
Go in peace Sissy, our beautiful companion, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  You will be missed,
There will be two life celebrations. The Hilltop Station on Monday, February from 5-8, hosted by Eric and Tate McCullough.
The second celebration will be held in Pocatello on Saturday, February 6th at the Rosewood Center on South Bannock Highway for 1-pm.
